According to his details, he himself suggested changing the term to “desolladores” (skin-flaying), but when writing it in uppercase, he made an error that he described as “unforgivable”. Assumes full responsibility. In his message, Becerra Acosta was emphatic in disassociating the institution from the incident. The error was entirely mine because I commented in my “Portadas” chat with the designers that the verses were “desolladores” rather than “desgarradores” and, when changing the summary and writing it all in uppercase, I committed… The reason for his resignation. The now-former director explained that, given the magnitude of the error and the standards of journalistic practice, he decided to resign from his position. He pointed out that it was a completely personal failure and not an error attributable to the university. “It is not a blunder of UNAM, it is a mistake entirely mine,” expressed the journalist, emphasizing that the responsibility falls solely on his person and not on the editorial team or the institution.
